Some opportunities change the person you become. The Aditya Birla Scholarship challenged me to become worthy of the faith it placed in my potential. Even during one of the most challenging years of my life, I remained committed to my vision: to use the law as a force for environmental change. I am currently building an environmental enterprise in Uttarakhand with the ambition of creating a new model for sustainable development in India's Himalayan region. My goal is to demonstrate that environmental law can move beyond regulation to become a catalyst for conservation. Being an Aditya Birla Scholar has given me far more than recognition; it has given me direction.

The moment my name was announced at the 25th Aditya Birla Scholarship event remains deeply engraved in my memory. Being interviewed by a highly accomplished STEM panel inspired me to achieve much more. I had the privilege to work along with peers and professors, on various projects which continue to propel my interest and proficiency in Computer Science, while at the same time helping me grow as an individual, as a teammate and as a leader. I am incredibly grateful and proud to be an Aditya Birla Scholar, for catalysing holistic growth in me and for being a constant source of support.

Becoming an Aditya Birla Scholar gave me the confidence to embrace learning without the fear of failure. Over the past year, this opportunity has driven my journey from studying foundational theories to building real-world systems. Immersing myself in machine learning, quantitative finance, and systems architecture has fundamentally changed how I view complex environments. My central question evolved from "Can I build this?" to "Does this create meaningful utility?" Looking back, I no longer define success by achievements alone. I believe it lies in cultivating the curiosity to question, the courage to build, and the humility to keep learning.

At the 2024 Scholarship Event, I had the opportunity to interact with a senior Aditya Birla Scholar working in the field of high-frequency trading. Having always enjoyed mathematics and puzzle solving, I have decided to pursue a career in quantitative finance and trading. I am grateful to the Aditya Birla Group for creating a platform that goes beyond recognising academic merit. Interacting with fellow scholars has exposed me to different perspectives, achievements, and ideas. The opportunity to learn from such an accomplished community has been just as valuable as the scholarship itself, and I look forward to carrying these learnings forward.

Receiving the Aditya Birla Scholarship was a defining moment that inspired me to aim higher with humility. Over the past year, I have ranked in the top 5 percentile of my batch, interned with KPMG in strategic consulting, and contributed to institute-wide initiatives at IIM Indore. This scholarship is not just recognition but also a responsibility that motivates me to create meaningful and responsible impact in the future.

Being an Aditya Birla Scholar has provided me with the confidence and security to pursue opportunities that have shaped my legal education and clarified my professional aspirations. It has motivated me to make meaningful use of the opportunities it has created, reinforcing my aspiration to pursue a career in policy research after law school. The recognition inspires me to pursue academic excellence with purpose and to contribute meaningfully through public policy and the law. Ultimately, the scholarship is both a responsibility and a support system, empowering me to be a 'Force for Good'

Being named an Aditya Birla Scholar has been an incredibly formative experience of my legal education. Each experience sharpened the law-policy interface that I find most compelling. The ABS programme is not just about academic excellence but inculcating leadership qualities, values, vision, and dreams. The programme's aim of spawning a future generation of transformational leaders is something I carry into every role I take on. The ABS identity has given my ambitions both direction and accountability.

I have considered my second year at college to be monumental in terms of the leadership opportunities that I chose to embrace. I am currently interning at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, working on real-life issues faced by the Indian Army. These experiences represent a year spent not just developing myself, but contributing meaningfully to the communities I am part of, which I believe reflects the values this scholarship stands for.
