Our Scholars: Conversations

I'm currently working in the CEO's Office at Zomato. As an undergraduate, I completed a research internship at the University of Sydney and participated in an exchange semester at Chalmers (Sweden), both of which piqued my interest in pursuing further studies abroad. The Aditya Birla Scholarship has not only expanded my professional network, but has also boosted my confidence and strengthened my long-term resolve to build my own venture.

I graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2022. While maintaining a focus on academics, I also actively participated in extra-curriculars and represented my university at several national and international alternative dispute resolution competitions. I currently practise at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in the dispute resolution and insolvency teams. As an Aditya Birla Scholar, I feel both a sense of pride as well as great responsibility to manifest the qualities and values associated with this prestigious programme in my professional life.

I have been fortunate to serve one of the most prominent global consulting players, Deloitte, in their Risk and Financial Advisory practice. As part of the team, I’ve created significant impact by helping shape the strategy of the advisory’s $5B+ business, while monitoring emerging trends such as generative AI, carbon trading, etc. that impact the future of our clients. I’ve mentored colleagues through structured programmes, facilitated sessions on innovation, developed graphic facilitation and design thinking skills, and attended multiple leadership trainings conducted by external organisations for personal and professional development. Outside of project work, I help organise mentorship sessions for campus hires on career progression, DEI etc. I look forward to developing as a leader, a true testament to the Aditya Birla Legacy, and contribute meaningfully to the success of my organisation and society at large.

It is indeed a pleasure to be a part of the prestigious Aditya Birla Scholars community. I am currently based in Guwahati, Assam, where I am working as a partner with Achyut Group, an up and growing real estate development firm based in north-east India. Prior to being associated with Achyut Group, I was working with McKinsey as a Management Consultant for almost 2.5 years.
