Meet the Aditya Birla Scholars
The Aditya Birla Scholarship is awarded to students who show not just academic grit but also extra-curricular excellence and have a passion to lead and change the world. We are proud to dedicate this space to all our past Scholars and invite them to share their fascinating journeys in both their academic and professional lives.
The Aditya Birla Scholarship enabled me to represent my university at global platforms, including the 66th Philip C. Jessup World Championship Rounds and the Vis Vienna Moot, where I refined my advocacy and legal reasoning skills. Professionally, I secured a pre-placement offer with Linklaters LLP in London, a milestone shaped by the scholarship’s support. On campus, I led as Managing Editor of the NLUJ Law Review and represented the football team, carrying forward the discipline and determination strengthened through personal challenges.

My first major achievement was securing an All-India Rank of 95 in JEE Advanced 2021. Joining IIT Bombay, one of the most prestigious institutes in India, marked the beginning of my journey. Initially, I aspired to contribute to the field of Electrical Vehicles, but after coming here I have realised that there are a lot more options. I have become a part of project AeRoVe under UMIC, where we are developing Aerial Robotic Vehicles. Alongside six others, I participated in the ICUAS’23 UAV competition. We competed against MTech and PhD students and ranked 1st in the simulation stage worldwide! We are now looking forward to the live trials in Warsaw, Poland. This is one achievement that I am most proud of!

Being an Aditya Birla Scholar has been a journey of opportunities and growth. This year, I secured a vacation scheme internship with Allen & Overy Shearman, London, one of only two students from India to do so and gained further exposure through internships with Drew and Napier LLC in Singapore and Khaitan & Co in Mumbai. I ranked first in my batch and represented NLU Jodhpur at the Deakin International Arbitration Moot (Deakin Law School, Australia), where our team earned recognition among 60+ global teams. Winning the NLIU-Trilegal Summit also took me to Bangkok, Thailand. Alongside academics, I led initiatives at IDIA and IJAL, fostering leadership, mentorship, and impactful student welfare work.

I graduated from IIM Lucknow a month back. I was on the Dean's Merit List (Institute Ranker) of the Class of 2023. I was also a state level powerlifter (52 kg weight category) and won gold at the district level in powerlifting. Currently, I am looking for volunteering opportunities in Pune where I am spending time with my parents before I move to Bengaluru to work with Bain and Company as a Junior Consultant.
