We most heartily invite you to our 26th Aditya Birla Scholarships Programme for the naming of the Class of 2025-26 on the evening of the 8th of November, as well as to the seeding of the Aditya Birla Scholarships alumni forum in the morning hours.
A bit of the recount: The lure of the scholarships under the mentorship of our Chairman, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, has extended beyond the academic community. Our programme has acquired a distinctive feel. It has ascended to become a calling card, moved beyond the aspiration stature. And for this we owe big time to all of you, our scholars for having more than lived up to our expectations. Also to our judges – all exemplars. Men and women of eminence, worthy of emulation, such as – Justice Shrikrishna, the late Elaben Bhat, Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Dr. Mashelkar, Dr. Mohanty, Dr. Sanjay Baru, Zia Modi. Over 130 judges have been engaged in our programme. The aspirants were absolutely delighted to be interviewed by them. The Jury’s evaluation process based on our metrics was perfect. They made the right choice. Up till now 777 scholars have been named by them, of which over 350 are in leadership positions in global organisations inclusive of many of you.
When we look back, from where we began and where we have reached, the track record is indeed fulfilling. Having birthed 350 amazing individuals, entrepreneurs, unicorns, founders, bureaucrats, professionals in the consulting firms, academicians and scientists. In all humility it does seem like we have pulled off a miracle. Our scholarship programme has become an incantation, whose rhythm resonates throughout campuses. They are such a Force for Good, our pride, your pride and India’s pride and the world’s pride, for all of you have made a mark in your fields.
Moving back to the 8th of November, the day will unfold with the evaluation process from 8:30 am up until 6:00 pm followed by the announcement of Aditya Birla scholars Class of 2025-26.
It is also the day when hopefully the Aditya Birla scholar’s alumni forum will be seeded. Prashant Sarin and Ishan Sinha, along with Stuti Pandey (Assistant Vice President, Aditya Birla Group HR) and Aravind Nambissan (Assistant General Manager, Aditya Birla Group HR) have been at the front of this initiative. They are planning an elaborate program with networking and learning from the distilled wisdom of leaders from within and beyond. This team will get in touch with you to take the day forward successfully.
We so look forward to your intense engagement in carrying forward the Aditya Birla Scholarships Alumni Forum. It will be nice if you could come out with a more exciting name. Do mull over it and revert.
